We've praised Dynamode for its 2.5in drive caddies before and the HD2.5SI is another strong contender for anyone who needs gigabytes of storage. The PCB inside the chassis has both SATA and parallel ATA connectors, so virtually any notebook hard disk will work. Installation is a snap - you'll need to manage just six screws to install a disk, and Dynamode even includes a magnetised screwdriver to help speed things along. There's also a leather-style carry pouch, complete with cutouts to allow you to plug in the drive without removing it. The extras continue with a pair of USB cables - one for data and one for power, should your PC not provide the necessary juice over a single USB port.
