The second Agfa photo frame on test is also the only Bluetooth-enabled model we've looked at this month. And while Bluetooth connections can sometimes be troublesome, this one is wonderfully easy to use: simply activate your Bluetooth device and you'll soon be transferring pictures from your phone without a second's thought. The frame is able to send pictures as well as receive them. The only black mark is the range - a potentially restrictive 4m.

You do pay a premium for this added feature - an extra £40 compared with the standard, non-Bluetooth frame - but there are other reasons to pay extra. Resolution is still stuck at 480 x 234, but it has better picture quality than its cheaper stablemate. Colours are more natural and it's better at reproducing detail, which makes it one of the better 7in frames on test.

The higher price is also justified by other improvements. The remote control has more features, and the controls on the frame itself are more accessible and easier to use. There's a fully fledged menu system, too, which makes navigation far easier.

A speaker on the rear of the frame allows for MP3 playback and is surprisingly loud, if a little tinny and flat - a common complaint. There are also two spare fascias in black and silver in the box, although we're not sure why the white frame included with the cheaper model has been omitted.

Admittedly, £77 is a lot to pay for a photo frame, but this one is well equipped, good to look at and offers excellent picture quality. It's worth considering if you have the cash to splash.
