The professional's choice of Pentium 4 machine. This PC offers incredibly fast performance, buckets of hard disk space, a three-year, on-site warranty and a respectable all-round feature set.

If you're looking for a good all-round Pentium 4 system that offers superb performance and an impressive feature set, then this is the PC to go for. The improved 2D performance and vast amounts of hard disk space push it just ahead of the Hi-Grade Ultis PV4 2400, although if 3D performance is a key factor the Hi-Grade tips the scales.

Both machines are slightly behind the latest Athlon-based PCs, but not by much, and it's encouraging that good-value and high-performance Pentium 4 machines can still be purchased on a mid-range budget. It will be interesting to see how the new enhanced Pentium 4 with the 533MHz front side bus performs in the near future.
