Unusually, this NAS box from Acer comes with both wired and 802.11bg wireless connections. Each user can be given their own account, with access restricted to certain folders, drives or space constraints. UPnP AV compliance allows media to be streamed to similarly compatible media players without a PC being on, and the four pre-fitted 500GB Seagate Barracuda disks (with support for JBOD, RAID0, 1 and 5) give plenty of flexibility, and there's also the option of replacing them in the future. The thumbscrews on the case can be tricky when opening it to add or replace disks, but it's otherwise well built and comes with some impressive features behind the web interface.
