MoGo Mouse X54 Pro  [PC Pro]
COMPANY: Newton Peripherals PRICE: £52  (£61 inc VAT)
RATING: ISSUE: 160  DATE: Feb 08

Travel mice have never held that much appeal at PC Pro - most people are more than capable of getting to grips with a laptop trackpad. But MoGo's range of mice (web ID: 100163) holds more appeal than most. The X54 slots into the ExpressCard/54 slot that's present on most modern laptops, and will be compatible with your laptop as long as it has an integrated Bluetooth adapter. Its battery recharges whenever it's slotted away, and it boasts a surprising number of features given the size. The slide-pad between the mouse buttons works as a scroll wheel, and there's a laser pointer built into the bottom for directing presentations. In use, it's fairly comfortable, although it's some way from being a triumph of ergonomics. But it works, and it's hard to lose.
