ink in a completely different way. It lets you format jobs on-the-fly to print anything from two to eight pages on a single sheet of A4. It can convert coloured text to monochrome, and allows graphics to be skipped altogether. But it does more than simply save ink. It adds editing capabilities to Print Preview, which allows you to delete pages and insert blank ones. You can also superimpose watermarks or electronic letterheads. You can combine print jobs so multiple documents are brought together as single jobs, which is ideal for creating booklets from web pages. Paper scaling allows you to reduce larger pages down to A4 automatically. Even if you have just one printer, you can create virtual printers, each with its own predefined settings; so you can have one virtual printer for booklets and another for letterhead pages. At just £26, FinePrint represents phenomenal value, and as such receives a deserving six stars, along with our Recommended award.
