The Xbox 360's controller has garnered plenty of praise from gamers and, while you've always been able to use the wired version on your PC under XP and Vista, this USB dongle adds support for up to four of the wireless versions, as well as the wireless headset and steering wheel. The dongle with a controller costs £30 (www.scan.co.uk) or, if you have an Xbox 360, share the controller by pressing the button on the dongle to switch the pairing. Many more PC games now come with preset controls for the Xbox 360 controller, so the ability to use the wireless version is welcome - it's just a shame the combined cost makes it an expensive option.
