Great Email Disasters  [PC Pro]

Work with email long enough, and sooner or later you'll do something you regret - most people have at least one story of clicking Reply-to-All instead of Forward. But not many mistakes result in the kind of catastrophes covered by Great Email Disasters. Take the journalist who reacted to the BBC's hiring of football commentators Jonathan Pierce and Andy Johnson by sending an email to 500 members of staff, describing the new recruits as "crap". Then there's the worrying story of the Devonshire teenager who received up to 11 emails per week containing American naval secrets. Our favourite, though, is from Alistair Campbell, who inadvertently sent an email to the BBC telling them to "f*** off and cover something important, you t****!". A great piece of holiday reading.
