Product ReviewsMusic/MP3 players
The SE210s are at the bottom of the new S-series range, using just a single- driver design. That significantly reduces cost, but also the ability to handle complex material. Compared to the next model up, the £145 SE310s, you aren't guaranteed the same punch in the bass, and there certainly isn't the same clarity at the mid- and top-end. But the difference is small, particularly if you're using compressed formats or aren't concentrating. Noise isolation using the variety of earbuds is superb, providing you use the right one. We also like the excellent case and accessories. So while the SE210s won't satisfy the demanding audiophile, most people will find them an excellent upgrade to their music player's bundled versions.
