Nvidia has finished fleshing out its range of DirectX 10 cards, and the 8800 Ultra is the one to beat. It has a core clock of 612MHz, up from 575MHz on the 880GTX. The shader and memory clocks are now 1.5GHz and 1.08GHz from 1.35GHz and 900MHz respectively, and the results in our benchmarks were telling - Far Cry, at 1,600 x 1,200 with 8x AF, ran at 100fps, while Call of Duty with 4x AA ran at an astonishing 81fps. For most it's overkill, but if you can afford it this could be the last graphics card you buy until DirectX 11 appears.
