We take a look at the best online word tools to ease your writer's block, from note-taking to sales reports to dialogue.
The main aim of WordFusion is to create professional forms. It will integrate with Access databases, Excel spreadsheets and Word document templates, as well as offering easy scripting and .NET scripting. But this power can also be exploited more simply to automate the production of business documents, for example, and it's possible to assemble a document template from your data with one click. You get drag-and-drop control insertion, data validation and a properties preview function. The fact that WordFusion uses XML for the underlying data format makes for easy integration with both existing databases and servers. The only problem is that it's currently in beta (with a 120-day time-out), and there's no word on final costs for the finished app. We're assured there'll be a free version available, though, which will allow for form-filling and the reuse of information created this way, if not design.
