Personal Knowbase is an organiser at heart, using a unique keyword-based system to store related information in an efficient way. It's easy to create an index of your notes, email messages and ideas either directly or by importing from the supported file types. This is its biggest flaw, though, as it currently only handles text, HTML, RTF and delimited text. We like the attachment feature that will associate both files on disk and URLs with your notes, enabling access of both with the same keywords. There are no size limitations on files or articles, and keywords can be combined with Boolean operators such as AND, OR and NOT to create your own mini-search engine.
