NetMeter is best for simple bandwidth monitoring and alerting, while NetLimiter cuts the mustard for bandwidth shaping and per-application bandwidth filtering. If you know of a workable alternative that combines both these features at a consumer level, you know where to find me. Just don't phone, okay?
