The truth about Cloud computing

Steve Cassidy attends this year's annual VMware convention in Cannes, and is beset from all sides by the magical c-word.

It gave me the opportunity to fantasise a bit about being in The Persuaders, casting Honeyball in the Tony Curtis role, sneaking through the streets of Cannes to snatch a peek at their smart layer on top of XenSource's Virtual platform. When there's that much activity around a simple technical presentation forum, in the first year of a once-in-a-century recession, you have to admit this was the right place to be.
