Better browsing
Last month I wrote about the improved IE6-based web browser that will eventually be shipped as part of Windows Mobile 6.1, and how it supports lots of Web 2.0 technologies. If you can't wait for this new browser from Microsoft then head to www.skyfire.com where a brand new mobile browser is currently in beta. I've been having a play, albeit with difficulty - the first beta was only open to people in the US, so I had to use an American PAYG SIM to sign up - but I can report that even at an early beta stage the product is brilliant, with great support for modern interactive sites. I'll be watching out for a beta 2.
