Lexmark has launched a range of colour laser printers for businesses.

The range comprises the C760, C762 and multifunction C762e, which print at 25ppm in both mono and colour using single pass technology at 4,800dpi resolution. Colour accuracy is controlled through automatic adjustment of dot size and shape, plus pantone calibration.

The new printers have also been designed with the in-house printing needs of businesses in mind. They support a range of two-colour applications for printing signs, and can print long banners on weather resistant media using Lexmark's fade-resistant toner that can be displayed outdoors.

They also include ColourCare software whereby admins can authorise which users are able to print in colour.

The high-end C762e also includes a colour touch-sensitive panel that offers a simple interface to all the printer's features. The unit is also network ready, and includes two 500-sheet paper trays, a duplex unit and the X4500 scanner.

Lexmark says it expects the C762e to sell for around £4,599, the C762 for £1,049 and the 760 for £779.

They are available immediately.
