Networks for Business 2003: Inclarity updates its broadband telephony

At the Networks for Business 2003 show in the Birmingham NEC, Inclarity has released Broadband Telephony 3.5.

As its name suggests, this provides voice telephony over a broadband connection. Version 3.5 further integrates Broadband Telphony with a user's PC. The idea is to control a variety of call features - such as call screening, fax to email and speed dials - from Outook or Lotus Notes. Voice messages can also be forwarded as email attachments.

Describing itself as a 'next generation communications service provider', Inclarity's system is designed to provide PBX capabilities without the need for BT phone lines.

Inclarity is also negotiating to offer Broadband Telephony to telcos on a white label basis, and it says it is on target to launch a business and residential service in September. 'We've had a tremendous response to Broadband Telephony since the launch earlier this year,' claimed John Irvine, VP of Inclarity. 'Business and residential users have been registering via our website in their thousands. Inclarity is actively pursuing channel partners to help with a rapid roll-out of the service.'

Broadband Telphony is based on the NetCentrex IPCentrex technology.
