Networks for Business 2003: Multi-Tech launches cellular wireless desktop modem

A wireless modem for globe-trotting businessmen - Multi-Tech has launched its first cellular wireless desktop modem. Supporting GSM, GPRS and CDMA technologies, its suitable for worldwide deployment
With a RS-232 DE-15 Voice/Data interface connector and SMA antenna connector, the MultiModem GSM/GPRS and CDMA can be used as a desktop unit or be panel mounted.
Multi-Tech also announced new Digital MultiVoIP Gateways. The MVP410-ST and MVP810-ST Digital VoIP gateways are designed for connection to either Digital PBX's, ISDN telco lines or ISDN telephones. The MVP410-ST supports four simultaneous voice connections, the MVP810-ST eight voice connections.
Also announced are the Multi-Tech RF600 and RF560 VPN gateways, which include firewall and content-filtering features. These will be shipping in July.
