Yahoo! partners for Enterprise push

Yahoo! has leapt on the rolling Enterprise IM bandwagon with its announcements of partnerships with with WebEx Communications and BEA Systems, Inc.
The aim is to equip Yahoo! Instant Messenger with the ability to work with enterprise applications and distribute them for use with video or telephone conferencing.
The move follows similar announcements of 'enterprise' versions from IBM and Microsoft.
Following the agreement, the Yahoo! Messenger Enterprise Edition will be able to run WebEx meetings from their desktops.
WebEx Meeting Center conferences and share applications such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with integrated video, IP voice and telephone conferencing.
The deal with BEA enables developers using the BEA WebLogic Workshop to build Yahoo! Messenger applications to integrate with enterprise intranet applications such as collaboration tools, CRM and directories.
