The Small Business Service (SBS) has launched the CONNECT Web site, giving SMEs access to video case studies, a resource library and analysis tools to help them boost profits, productivity and performance.
The site, at www.connectbestpractice.com, adds a new resource to the CONNECT events and support programmes available to SMEs, and is also the first in Whitehall to offer streaming media.
The video library offers 150 case studies on subjects such as leadership and accessing finance to health and safety and marketing.
Martin Wyn Griffith, Chief Executive of the SBS, said: 'CONNECT really does help SMEs. Last year we undertook an independent survey of companies who attended CONNECT presentations and the results were fantastic. Companies reported average increases in profits of £670,000 and increases in sales of over £4 million. Bringing CONNECT online will bring increased productivity and profits for UK SMEs.'
