Google has tweaked its social network, adding a few missing features for its business-focused pages.

Google+ pages launched without the ability to add multiple administrators, a flaw that made the brand profiles difficult for businesses to manage. Google has made up for that by now allowing up to 50 administrators.

"In the weeks since launching pages, we’ve been listening to your feedback and we’re pleased to make some of the most oft-requested features available," said Bradley Horowitz, vice-president of Google+, in a blog post.

"A new notification flow will ensure that these managers stay in the loop on all the activity that takes place on a page, giving managers the ability to stay involved in page conversations."

Google+ will also keep track of users who have liked something on your page. "We’ll now show an aggregated count of users that have engaged with your page, either by +1’ing it or by adding it to a circle," said Horowitz. "This way, both you and your page’s visitors can get an at-a-glance summary of who is interacting with your page."

There are a few other changes being made to Google+. First, there are new tools to "fine tune" your news feed, to customise which posts you would prefer to see. The notifications bar now offers sneak previews of content, so you no longer need to navigate to the item to see what it is. And, the photo system has been revamped to show larger pictures in a cleaner layout.
