BT Openworld has extended its offer on reduced broadband setup costs.
BT Broadband and BT Openworld's Home 500 Plug & Go service will continue to waive activation fees. Also included in the package is a £50 ADSL modem offer and, for Openworld Home 500 Plug & Go customers, an extra £10 off orders placed online.
'We had such a positive response from the initial price offers in January,' claimed Pierre Danon, chief executive of BT Retail, 'that we wanted to give even more people a chance to sign up and make a saving'.
The new package of prices will run until the end of June. In total, BT claims, the offers represent a saving for consumers of £100 on broadband start-up costs.

As we reported last week, BT Wholesale's halving of its ADSL activation fee came to an end on 31 March.
BT Whole sale has confirmed to us that it does not intend - at the moment - to renew the offer, which means that BT's ISP services are swallowing the cost themselves by waiving the activation fee.
