Apple has announced that a "team of executives" will deliver the keynote at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), putting an end to rumours that Steve Jobs may make appearance.
Apple has pencilled in 8 June for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), an event which has previously played host to the unveiling of the iPhone 3G.
Jobs is slated to return to the company at the end of June, leading to speculation he may put in an appearance at WWDC. However, Apple has moved to put an end to that rumour claiming the keynote will be led by Philip Schiller, its vice president of worldwide product marketing.
Apple is expected to unveil a new iPhone in the coming months, with rumours also swirling around development of a touch-screen tablet.
Among the sessions planned at the conference are ones outlining coming changes to the iPhone OS and Snow Leopard. The company plans to have more than 1,000 engineers on hand to present the latest technology developments.
