The UK's top PC makers revealed - and much more
Posted on 30 Oct 2006 at 20:33
After three months of reader voting, PC Pro can now reveal the final shortlist for its awards - given to the companies that offer the best customer service and produce the most reliable products.
With more than 16,000 people giving feedback on everything from their notebook to their web host, the PC Pro Awards give an unmatched insight into the level of customer service UK technology buyers receive.
Most importantly, we don't just ask people to "vote" for their favourite companies - all this reveals is how big the company is. Instead, we asked each of those 16,000 people to rate every company they've dealt with for customer service, for the reliability of their goods, and whether they would buy from the company again.
There are 12 different categories, with almost 100 different companies earning a privileged place on our shortlist. To achieve this, they have to offer above-average results, so to even reach the shortlist is a sign of customer approval.
To see who makes the cut in each category, just click on the relevant link below. And to find out who's the winner, make sure you put a note in your diary to re-visit www.pcpro.co.uk on Tuesday 5 December.
Finally, our thanks to everyone who took part in this survey. It simply wouldn't be possible without you!
