Microsoft has said it will be pushing out six security fixes for its Windows operating system in October's Patch Tuesday bulletin release.

At least one of these will be rated as Critical and may require systems to be updated.

There will also be Critical updates among the four Offices patches and a Moderate fix for the Microsoft .NET framework.

Microsoft will also release an updated version of its Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.
