Rob Glaser, chairman and CEO of Real said that the company shares a passion for innovation with Google.

'The Google Toolbar has been a welcome addition to Real customers because Google simplifies and enhances how they interact with the Web,' he said. 'We think our customers will feel the same way about the Firefox Web browser"

Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, agreed.

'Real has been one of Google's most important distribution partners for the past two years, and we are delighted to broaden and deepen that relationship,' he said. 'Google and Real will continue to work together in innovative ways to further improve the Web experience.'

The deal complements Google's efforts in the area in the form of Google Pack, which alongside Google, Real and Firefox software includes Adobe Reader 7, Ad-Aware SE Personal, GalleryPlayer HD Images, Norton AntiVirus 2005 Special Edition and Trillian.
