Apple sued for patent infringement 10:42AM, Monday 21st November 2005
Apple is facing legal action of the alleged breach of two patents in its iPod, iTunes and Mac products.

Illinois-based Premier claims that the Apple products violate patents 6,763,345 and 6,243,725 , which describe a system for creating lists of audio works that can be visually displayed and edited, stored for subsequent retrieval and execution. In other words playlists.

Premier is seeking an injunction and damages. Apple does not comment on ongoing legal disputes.
