Showing once again the power of the cinema when it comes to games releases, Activision's multi-format movie spin-off climbs back to the top. And the Charlie And The Chocolate Factory spin-off - despite critical maulings - bubbles up to number two. Again it is from Activision and runs on the GameBoy Advance, GameCube, PC, PS2 and Xbox.
Codemaster's cricket game for the PC, PS2 and Xbox - Brian Lara International Cricket 2005, to give it its full name - slips to number three.
The main climber in a quiet week is Codemaster's Worms 4: Mayhem and its worm-versus-worm gameplay. Available in PC, PS2 and Xbox formats, it wriggles - or slithers or whatever it is that worms do - up from 20 to 11.
The Sims 2 also re-enters the top 20,

Getting format-specific, Battlefield 2 still remains in the number one spot for PC games, and Fantastic 4 pips Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 at the top of the PS2 pile. The cricket game, however, stays at the crease to top the Xbox chart.
