Versions 1.0.5 of both applications caused problems with a number of extensions and as a result localised (languages other than US English) were not released, causing some concern amongst users who wanted the security fixes that were incorporated in that version.
Those fixes are present in the now extension-friendly versions of the two programs, which can be downloaded as follows: Firefox 1.0.6; Thunderbird 1.0.6.
Also from the Mozilla stable, the Camino browser for Mac OS X has taken another step towards fulfillment. Camino 0.9a2 is available from www.caminobrowser.org.
