UK games chart: Medal of Honor assaults number one 5:33PM, Tuesday 28th June 2005
Medal of Honor: European Assault has battled its way to the top of this weeks ELSPA UK games chart. EA's multi-console-format first person shooter reaches the top after two weeks in the charts.

In a busy week there are also six new entries: Battlefield 2 (EA's war game for the PC), Destroy All Humans! (THQ's action game for the PS2 and Xbox), Tekken 5 (Namco's beat 'em up for the PS2), Conker: Live And Reloaded (Microsoft's adventure game for the Xbox), Dynasty Warriors 5 (Koei's strategy adventure for the PS2 and Xbox) and Mx Vs ATV Unleashed (quad bike-like racing from THQ, again for the PS2 and Xbox).

Last week's number one, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - revived by its appearance for the PC and Xbox - slips down feebly to number five.

Getting format-specific, Battlefield 2 is number one
