The new nForce4 MCPs will feature integrated graphics and are designed for use in media center PCs, digital media devices and small-form-factor (SFF) PCs.
Nvidia MXM is intended to bring GeForce 6 Series performance to notebook platforms with a graphics interface that enables interchangeable graphics cards in notebook PCs. Nvidia will also present a lineup of its GeForce Go 6-series GPUs for notebooks.
Nvidia's PureVideo technology is a combined hardware/software solution that the company claims improves the capabilities of the PC as a video playback device, providing home theatre quality video on desktop and notebook PCs.
The company will also be displaying its GoForce family of wireless media processors (WMPs), GeForce 6 Series GPUs and SLI technology at Computex.
About 24 Nvidia nForce-based motherboards will be displayed by motherboard makers at the exhibition, including Abit Computer, Albatron, AOpen, Arima Computer, Asustek Computer, Biostar Microtech International, Chaintech Computer, DFI, Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), Epox Computer, Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry), Gigabyte Technology, Inventec, iWill, Jetway Information, Micro-Star International (MSI), Soltek Computer and Tyan Computer.
