Commodore 64 revives to a new lease of life 2:50PM, Thursday 13th January 2005
Those nostalgic for the halcyon age of home computing will be pleased to learn that the Commodore 64 is back in the shops.

At a penny less than £30, the Commodore 64 is reincarnated as a 'Direct to TV' model. Although it features the original operating system, coders won't be able to relive their bygone Basic days. Nostalgic gamers will be more than catered for though, however, as the C64 gubbins is all contained within a replica Competition Pro 5000 Joystick, along with 30 original games.

These include Summer Games, Winter Games, Pitstop (I & II), Impossible Mission (I & II), Firelord, World Karate Champion and Speedball.

Gadgets.co.uk is importing a shipment of the units for a UK launch later this year.
