Ballmer's Asian IP warning set to backfire

At which point Microsoft has a problem. Does it compete by slashing prices in Asia to compete, in which case how low does it have to go to compete with bootleg copies charged at little more than the price of the media, or it convinces the US administration to start a trade war with China. Given that the already depressed dollar is currently being propped up only by the huge holdings by countries such as China, even the gung-ho Bush administration is like to think twice.
