It's one million downloads and counting for version 1.0 of the Firefox open source browser, which was only released Tuesday 9 November.
Actually, that is still an estimated download figure, but spreadfirefox.com is trumpeting the rush for the latest rival to Internet Explorer.
Spreadfirefox is the organisation behind raising funds for adverts in the New York Times - Firefox opens wallets to fund newspaper ads - a move that has already spawned a similar project in Germany.
Next weekend also sees website parties organised around the world to mark Firefox's full debut. At time of writing there are nineteen for the UK, ranging from the The Rat And Parrot in Crawley to The Standing Order George Street, Edinburgh.
