Security fixes for Mozilla, Firefox, Thunderbird

The Mozilla Organisation has implemented fixes foir several outstanding security flaws in three of its products: the Mozilla Internet software suite, the Firefox browser and the Thunderbird email client.
The security bugs addressed comprise: null (%00) in filename fakes extension (ftp, file); lock icon and certificates spoofable with onunload document.write; importing false CA certificate leading to error -8182 (perm DoS), especially exploitable by email; and new libpng buffer overflow vulnerabilities.
The updated versions - Mozilla 1.7.2, Firefox 0.9.3 and Thunderbird 0.7.3 - are available from www.mozilla.org/download.html.
An update to the Mac OS X browser Camino will follow within the next week, developer Mike Pinkerton said in his blog.
