LaCie announces big drives 12:07PM, Tuesday 3rd February 2004
LaCie has unveiled the latest addition to its collection of hard drives, the Triple Interface.

Each drive is equipped with two FireWire 800 ports 'for speed', one FireWire 400 for computers that don't support 800 and for 'daisy chaining devices' and one Hi-Speed USB 2 port, 'for cross-platform convenience'.

The drives include all the necessary cabling, including a DV cable to enable digital footage to be downloaded direct from a camera.

They are availabel in sizes ranging from 160GB to 500GB as follows:
• 160GB, suggested retail price £134
• 200GB, SRP £159
• 250GB, SRP £179
• 320GB, SRP £219
• 400GB, SRP £299
• 500GB, SRP £359
