SCO's McBride unseals another open letter

SCO's claims that there is IP infringement in the Linux kernel relating to a 1994 court case between USL and BSD will similarly become unhinged if the GPL is upheld, as, 'if SCO then released its own Linux distribution under the GPL, that would presumably trump any previous restrictions they made on BSD, since the Linux distribution was more recent,' said Jason Schultz, staff attorney at the EFF.
And the fact that SCO code contributions and products shipped under the GPL will further weaken its case, unless the company can somehow prove the licence invalid.
