Computer Associates CFO forced to resign

The Chief Financial Officer and two other executives of software giant Computer Associates has been forced to resign following an announcement that US Federal Authorities have launched an investigation into its accounting practices.
The investigation follows allegations that Computer Associates added revenue booked in one quarter to the previous quarter's results. Following the reports Computer Associates Chief Executive, Sanjay Kumar, asked for the three men's resignations.
The company has also announced it will be making its own internal investigation in order to head off the Federal probe.
