You have probably read a lot of the news emerging from Intel's Developer Forum in San Jose, but has there been any developments regarding the Intel Desktop Control Center, Intel's apparent accommodation of overclocking - which surfaced last month?
The answer is no, for all the gathering of the great and the good, but we did try.
An Intel spokesperson did confirm the product would appear in the fourth quarter, but short of a release within the next week or two that was always going to be the case.
We even went to the top and asked Pat Gelsinger, Intel's CTO, about the plans for the Control Centre. 'Never heard of it,' was the gist of his reply. We tried... They will tell us more in their own good time.
