Colorgraphic has launched its Xentera GT range of graphics cards, with support for up to eight displays at a time.
The Xentera GT range is based on ATi's Radeon 9000 chipset, with true 128-bit processing and DDR memory up to 256MB. Colorgraphic is claiming the additional PCI card that accompanies the high end Xentera GT 8 - which offers support for eight displays - is a world first.
The cards are also supplied with a suite of management software to ensure that setting up and adjusting what is displayed on which screen is as straightforward as possible.
The cards have custom built heatsinks and fans to ensure the extra demand placed upon the chips doesn't result in overheating.
They are also available in low-profile Quad cards, to cater for a range of different form factors, such as rack mounted units.
UK pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
