Intel has updated its Math Kernel Library to version 6.0. The new release is a set of routines aimed at programmers working on creating simulation and analysis software for example for financial and modelling applications. The libraries are the first to support Hyperthreading for the Pentium 4, Pentium M, Xeon and Itanium 2 chips.
The Math Kernel Library 6.0 functions support linear algebra, Fast Fourier Transforms and vector math functions across a common applications programming interface
Intel Math Kernel Library 6.0 costs $199 for a single user licence and can be found at the Intel Web site.
