All Celerons, except the high-end 2.4GHz, are now priced below $100, following Intel's latest readjustment of processor prices.
The top of the range 2.4GHz model was only released at the beginning of April - Intel cranks up Celeron speeds.
The 2.4GHz Celeron is now priced at $103, a cut of 19 per cent. The 2.3GHz, 2.2GHz and 2.1GHz models are now priced at $89, $83 and $79, respectively. These figures represent cuts of 24, 19 and 11 per cent.
All pricing is based on 1,000 unit quantities.
Digitimes, the Taiwan-based technology site, is predicting another round of price cuts when Intel launches new 800MHz FSB-based P4s on 11 May.
Intel updated its range of mobile Celeron processors, along with the Pentium 4-M, earlier this month, too - Intel ups the ante for the mobile Pentium 4-M processor.
