Are you one of those who have pre-ordered the Radeon 9800 Pro? Well, you may be interested that ATI Technologies has begun shipping its well-received graphics processing system.
The Radeon 9800 Pro takes over from the 9700 Pro as ATI's high-end offering for games enthusiasts, and shipments to OEM and retail customers have now begun. ATI says that this fulfils its promise to deliver product within 30 days of the official 6 March.
'Once again we promised and we delivered,' claims Rick Bergman, Senior VP, Marketing and General Manager at ATI Technologies. 'Consumers and all of our channel partners are about to get their hands on the fastest, best image quality graphics cards available.'
Shipments of Radeon 9600 and Radeon 9200 products will follow later this month, he also stated.
