V7 pulls down LCD prices

Videoseven (V7) is offering more inches for your money with a new 19in LCD display.
The silver-hued V7 L19M is pitched at the competitive price of £569 - including VAT. That would be a lot of money for a 19inch CRT monitor, but remember that 20in LCD offerings can set you back more than £1,000.
Incorporating a Fujitsu MVA panel, the V7 L19M weighs in at 7.5Kg and has a viewing angle of 170 degrees (both horizontal and vertical). In terms of brightness, its spec is 250cd/m2 and it has a contrast ratio of 500:1. Two loudspeakers are built-in and, for connectivity, there's a 15-pin D-Sub port and a DVI-D interface
Described as an entry-level offering, it is targeted squarely at home users. V7 claims that its response time of 25ms assures judder-free gaming.
The unit comes with 3 year on-site support.
V7 already produces a 19in display, the L19CN, which uses a Samsung panel. This was released back in October 2002 with an RRP of £629.
