Search engine Ask Jeeves has introduced a new Concierge service. This revolutionary idea is that you can contact a real person who will do everything for you from organising a conference down to booking restaurants or buying a new car.
The service, which operates seven days a week from 9am to 7pm, is aimed primarily at people who are tied to their desks and who need their lives organising for them. Specialist services include: travel, special occasions, eating out, beauty, domestic help, entertainment, shopping, sports, motoring and home.
Annual subscription to Ask Jeeves Concierge costs £299 inc VAT. There are no hourly charges, and members only pay for the costs of individual tasks or for the goods and services they have requested. Advice and information, like city details, hotel and foreign restaurant recommendations, is provided free of charge. So for less than £25 per month members will have full access to the extensive services of the Ask Jeeves Member Assistance Centre.
