House hunters can search for property for sale or rent on Google Maps, after the search giant partnered with estate agents to include their listings in search results.
Google Maps Property shows potential properties as circles on a map and users can click through to the estate agent for further details of houses they are interested in.
According to Google, potential home buyers can enter a city or location and see all the available listings by selecting “Properties” from the More menu in Maps.
There are options for refining the search by price, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the type of property.
Google said nine agents - Zoopla, PropertyLive, Ezylet, SmartNewHomes, Vebra, Property Pal, Spicer Haart, Countrywide, Zoomf – had already agreed to make their listings available. Estate agents don't have to pay to be listed on the service.
From around the web
