Dell delivered a svelte rival to the Apple MacBook Air earlier this year, with the launch of its Adamo laptop. Now the company is raising the stakes once more, with the even thinner Dell Adamo XPS.
Our colleagues at iGizmo have been given a hands-on guide to the new laptop, which you can view below.

What Tosh!
Dell really need to get someone who is confident and doesn't say "er" every 0.4 seconds to do their demos. The marketing rubbish about "reaffirm our connection with our customers" made me cringe. "There's no compromise for our users" but I didn't see a CD drive... nice innovation with "ultra-low" processors!
That aside, it does look nice. Not sure about that typing position though. And 1700 Euros, so it'll be well over £1800 here.

Maybe a bit too thin
Maybe I'm getting older but I think it's too thin. You's be scared to death of it bending over surely?

That is a lovely looking thing. As long as the performance and battery life isn't dire, it'll be cool.

@phantombudgie - I actually liked the fact that he wasn't super slick with his marketing waffle. I've got very tired of hearing all that, so it's nice to hear someone who is a bit more... er... human. :)
