Posted on 10 Nov 2009 at 09:44
Sky has launched its mobile television app, allowing users to stream live sport and news channels to their iPhone.
The Sky Mobile TV app offers access to Sky Sports channels, ESPN and Sky News over a Wi-Fi connection. The application is free to download, though it will require a £6 per month subscription.
There's no word on whether the service will grow to include movie and entertainment channels, such as Sky One, however the sports package includes live matches from the Barclays Premier League, Scottish Premier League and Football League.
There's also European Tour golf, Premiership rugby and cricket.
