Google has promoted its "similar images" feature from the Labs onto its main search page.
Similar images allows users to easily remove the ambiguity that often crops up in image searches.
For example, typing in Jaguar brings up pictures of the car and the animal. Simply clicking the similar images link beneath the relevant picture will then return images that share characteristics - including shape and colours - with the original image.
The feature made its first appearance in Google's Labs back in April.
Alongside, similar images Google is introducing a suggestions site for Google Images. The site allows users to recommend features they'd like to see added to Google Image search, and vote on existing ideas they like.
Google says the site will be monitored by team members who'll "pay special attention to those ideas that are voted to the top of the list."
