Revamped iPod touch coming 7 September?

Rumours are swirling that Apple will unveil a revamped range of iPods in a September keynote.
To be fair, September is traditionally iPod season for Apple and it's not outlandish to expect some announcements. The most interesting, perhaps, could be that the iPod touch will be overhauled with an integrated camera and a microphone, allowing the company to introduce the voice control technology found on the iPhone 3GS.
If the rumours pan out expect the new iPod touch to arrive in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB varieties with price tags of $199, $299, and $399 respectively. As usual UK pricing will follow.
Just beneath iPod touch on the rumour pecking order, is a likely iTunes update and the introduction of Apple's Project Cocktail. The latter is apparently Apple's attempt to reinvent the album, and will offer a bunch of interactive content including lyric sheets, photos, cover art and liner notes.
Initially envisioned as "interactive books" the downloads would be self contained, allowing users to play tracks from within the bundle rather than through iTunes.
Staying with iPods, there are also suggestions that the company may hit back on pricing after Microsoft undercut the iPod with the pricing on its new Zune HD.
And, it wouldn't be an Apple rumours roundup without some mention of the nearly mythical Apple Tablet. The device is apparently a 10in touchscreen running the iPhone OS that can also hook up to a Mac and be used as a secondary screen, or clever touchpad.
From around the web
I've heard that Elvis is still alive.
Please can you not join in the Apple guessing because that is what it is. How long did we hear about the iPhone Nano before it was proved that there was no such thing. This is all just speculation from Apple fanboys about what they want. Updated Apple iPods? Very likely. Apple Tablet? Inconceivable. At least this year. That's my guess

It will be a bit annoying if they do announce a new iPod considering I only just bought one last week, before reading this article! :(
